The last 5 years i worked for Itera as a allround software engineer specialized in architecture and development of web applications and embedded software. You can read more about my professional activities in my portfolio or at my linkedin profile.
In my spare time i'm busy with the development of Tuxlocator, an Open Source locationtracker and navigation system. During the summer holidays you can find me at Tweehek computercamps. I am also chairman and founder of the Dutch PHP user group.
Consultancy, development and implementation of the health portal for http://www.residentie.net in coorporation with the government health services (GGD). The portal is based on an lightweight CMS framework that was written in PHP.
Groupleader/counsellor at Tweehek computercamps in Westdorp, Drenthe, Netherlands (http://www.tweehek.nl). One group consists of 15 people from 16 to 20 years old. They share a common interest in computers and games. I am hired (as voluntair) to make sure everything goes smoothly and at the end of the week both (the group and the location owner) are happy. I also try to teach them some social and IT-related skills.
Prototyper for the new userinterface of Scirus.com, the scientific searchengine of Reed-Elsevier. The USD (user centric design) specialists a Reed-Elsevier delivered me the wireframe mockup and functional specifications. It was my job to create a working prototype with the correct mockup and user interface behaviour.
