Developer for various ilseMedia sites (http://www.nu.nl , http://video.nu.nl, http://www.ilsemedia.nl , http://www.kaboem.nl, http://www.download.nl, http://www.shopgirl.nl). Prototyper & lead-developer for ilseMaps, a webmapping application similar to Google Maps , but fully based on Open Source components (mapserver, OpenLayers, Ka-map).

Developer for the "Persoonlijke Internet Pagina" (PIP) for the Netherlands government, an internet site and platform allowing citizens to access government services and create transactions with the government: Request a new passport, check registered data, request permits, etc... The PIP is the first website in its kind. It is not a regular government link-portal, but the government services are deeply integrated with different kinds of webservices.

I the beginning i was responsible for the codeaudits and architecture consultancy. Later the government hired me as software engineer for some key components of mijnOverheid.nl.
