In my spare time i'm busy with the development of Tuxlocator, an Open Source locationtracker and navigation system. During the summer holidays you can find me at Tweehek computercamps. 
I am also chairman and founder of the Dutch PHP user group.
Architrecture and development of a batch processing application for the consolidation of european customerdata to the United States. The application reads customers records from the European database, validates the records and sends them in a unified format to the HP headquarters in the USA. The application can process 20.000.000 records per our.
Developer for the "Persoonlijke Internet Pagina" (PIP) for the Netherlands government, an internet site and platform allowing citizens to access government services and create transactions with the government: Request a new passport, check registered data, request permits, etc... The PIP is the first website in its kind. It is not a regular government link-portal, but the government services are deeply integrated with different kinds of webservices.
I the beginning i was responsible for the codeaudits and architecture consultancy. Later the government hired me as software engineer for some key components of mijnOverheid.nl.
