The Tuxlocator (also known as Oom Tom) is an Open Source geologging device. It enables you to show your location tracks real-time in Google Earth. You can upload video and pictures straight to your live track, send and receive i-SMS, find nearby friends, get alerts for millions of types of actual nearby events...broadcast a message to people around you...
UPDATE: The betaversion of Tuxlocator 1.5 will contain an embedded routeplanner.
